Before first use, boil your disc for 4–5 minutes and let it cool. Wash your hands before handling it.
Bring the sides together to make the disc narrow for insertion, with the retrieval stem towards the front.
Guide it gently towards your tailbone so the collection basin sits beneath the cervix.
Tuck the front rim behind the pubic bone. It should sit comfortably; adjust if needed rather than forcing it.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR DISC
Use warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Rinse thoroughly.
Boil for 4–5 minutes before first use and between periods. Keep it submerged and off the pan’s bottom. Let it cool before use.
Let your disc dry fully, then keep it in a breathable pouch.
BEFORE YOU TRY IT
A disc rests beneath the cervix with its front rim tucked behind the pubic bone. A cup sits in the vaginal canal and forms a seal. They use different placement and removal techniques.
No. We offer one specific size: Small, in Light Pink. It has a 45 mL capacity and is 30 mm high. The 120 mm overall length includes the retrieval stem, not just the disc.
Check that the disc is beneath your cervix and the front rim is tucked in place. Empty it sooner if needed. Use period underwear as backup while learning the fit.
Wash your hands before and after handling. Don’t share your cup or disc. Stop using it if it causes pain or irritation; seek medical help if you cannot remove it. Ask your clinician before use with an IUD. Cups and discs do not prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
Toxic shock syndrome is rare but serious. Remove the product and seek urgent medical care if you develop a sudden fever, rash, vomiting or dizziness. Read more about TSS.
Some people find their disc partially empties into the toilet when they relax or gently bear down—a handy feature called auto-emptying. It doesn’t happen for everyone, so don’t force it.
With clean hands, check that the front rim is tucked back behind your pubic bone afterwards. Auto-emptying doesn’t reset the 12-hour wear limit: still remove and wash your disc within that time. Leaking outside the bathroom calls for a fit or position check.
Empty before heading out, then plan a bathroom break before 12 hours—or sooner if your flow fills it faster. While learning your flow, check more often rather than waiting for a leak.
Wash your hands before entering the stall. Remove and empty your disc into the toilet. If there’s no private sink, rinse with clean drinking water from a small bottle, then reinsert. Wash it thoroughly with mild, fragrance-free soap and water at the next opportunity. Never use toilet-bowl water or surface disinfectant.
A disc sits higher than a cup, leaving the vaginal canal free for penetrative sex during your period. Empty it beforehand, and remove and wash it afterwards. Comfort varies; stop and remove it if either partner feels discomfort. Some spotting is still possible.
Remove a menstrual cup before vaginal penetration. Neither a cup nor a disc prevents pregnancy or protects against sexually transmitted infections.
